Saw this offer pop up today on my Drop app. You can get 50,000 Drop points for signing up for Wag and scheduling a free dog walk (20 or 30 minutes).
You have to activate the offer. Then sign up for Wag through the Drop app. Once the walk is done, you’ll get 50,000 Drop points in your account, which is enough for $50 in gift cards to popular stores like Amazon, Starbucks, and Whole Foods. My dog’s walk is tomorrow!

Drop Wag promotion: 50,000 Drop points for a dog walk
This is a pretty sweet deal if you’re targeted for it. If so, you’ll see it when you open the app either as an alert, or scroll all the way down to the bottom to find it.
If you’re NOT targeted, peeps have had luck writing to customer support and asking them to manually add the offer to your account – although it can take a few days to hear back from them.
There is NOT an end date on this promotion. So my guess is will be around for a while, if you wanna give it a shot.
I redeemed my first walk after clicking the link in the Drop app. The walk is tomorrow morning. So hopefully I’ll get the 50,000 Drop points pretty soon – they said it can take a few days to confirm you scheduled the walk and deposit the points. But I don’t mind waiting if it’s free.
Wag’s an app that lets you arrange dog walks, daycare, or boarding. When you click the offer in the Drop app and sign up, you’ll see a button for a free 1st walk.
You can schedule it for the future, or click “ASAP” to see who’s already in the area.
All walks are private, so your dog won’t be in a huge pack. And you can monitor the walk with GPS.
I set up the walk for when I typically walk my dog in the morning. So I guess I’ll sit back and let someone else do it for free. Then collect 50,000 free Drop points. Sounds good to me!
What can you do with 50,000 Drop points?
If you haven’t heard of Drop, it’s an app that rewards you for regular spending at pre-selected merchants. Uber is one of them (here’s how to save on every Uber ride). I also chose Trader Joe’s, Amazon, and Whole Foods as my earn choices – you have to select from a list and can NOT change it once you decide, so choose wisely.
You plug in your bank information. And every time you make a purchase, you automatically earn Drop points. So it’s set it and forget it.
Plus, they have lots of special offers like this one for Wag. (Plastiq is another popular offer.)
1,000 Drop points = $1 toward gift cards for lots of merchants. I usually redeem them for Amazon gift cards. But they also have restaurants, AMC movie theaters, iTunes, Sephora, Best Buy… tons more.
So 50,000 Drop points will get you a $50 gift card with the Wag offer. Plus your dog gets a free walk out of the whole deal, too.
Tomorrow, my dog gets a free 30-minute walk. And soon after, I’ll get a free $50 gift card, thanks to this deal from Drop. If you haven’t opened your Drop app lately, take a look. And if you sign up, you can get $1 for downloading it.
If the offer isn’t in your account, send a message to the support team. They’re not incredibly responsive, but others have had luck asking them to manually add offers to accounts. And there’s no end date for this promotion, so it’s worth a shot.
I haven’t tried Wag yet, so this is an opportunity to see how it goes. I have a lot of travel coming up this year and am gonna need to make arrangements for my dog while I’m outta town. All around, this is a win-win.
If you’ve used Wag regularly, how’s the ongoing service? And let me know if you got the offer in your account!* If you liked this post, consider signing up to receive free blog posts in an RSS reader and you’ll never miss an update! And thanks for using my links to apply for new card offers!
