About the blog

The blog is divided up into a few different sections. Here’s how to navigate the different categories.

TRAVEL is a catch-all category. TRIP REPORTS is a sub-category of TRAVEL. There is also a separate category for HOTELS.

FINANCE is where I ramble about things like personal finance, net worth, and the journey to become financially independent.

POSITIVITY is where I post warm thoughts. It makes me feel good to post positive thoughts – and hopefully you, too.

QUEER AND THERE is another catch-all. It’s observations about travel, the world, New York, or any other ol’ thing that holds some sort of interest. It’s usually related to travel in a roundabout way.

JUST THE TIP(S) is my version of “Hot Deals” and “Pro Tips” combined. If something pops up and is time-sensitive, or if it’s just something about how to maximize time, money, or effort, I’ll post in this category.

SERVICES I LIKE are not necessarily related to travel, but may be a cool product, a startup with a great idea, or a helpful service. Most of them are referral links, and I appreciate you clicking them.
