⚡️ These are the #Antigua photos that didn't really fit anywhere else but that I've taken since always just because they make me happy and I want to remember:

- Me in any type of water 💦
- Me tuckered out in a hotel bed after a long day of exploring a new place with all my senses 🛏️
- View from my window, wherever I may be 🪟
- Sunsets, always sunsets 🌅
- Native flowers, even though I don't understand them, I appreciate their color, structure, and beauty 🌺
- Landscapes, especially mountains 🏔️
- Drinks in the airport lounge 🍺
- View from the window set of a plane (especially of sunsets) 🛩️

These types of photos instantly transport me back to the day, view, sun, and feelings I had surrounding the trip. Sometimes Insta is like my travel journal, and these are my fave pics for my memories. 📸

💵 I never stopped chronicling my journey toward financial independence on my blog, Out and Out. 👨🏻‍💻

I've had my blog since March 2013 and started a goal to save $500,000 in October 2019. As of today, I'm at $356,870 — 71.4% of the way there! 📈

But, to be honest, this year has been tough. I haven't made as much progress as I hoped for, and have felt the effects of inflation, soft labor demand, credit card debt, and an unstable stock market. 🥴

I write about it all every month: the wins, hardships, bleh, and the "holy crap can you believe that happened?!". Check the link in my bio (the Linktree) — it's Out and Out, my travel blog. And it's all there.

If I can increase my net worth my $10,000 a month, that'd put me at my goal in 14 months — around March 2026. And I say: LFG! ⚡️

So, this is my goal for 2025: To finally reach my financial independence goal (or as close as possible) by the end the year. Hope everyone is staying safe and scrappy out there. ❤️‍🔥

We got to take a tour of the picture-perfect @theinnantigua and spend time looking at yachts in nearby English Harbour. 🛥️ Complete with rum punch, of course.

🍽️ A whole post dedicated to food? You betcha! The FOOD at @hermitagebay is fresh, local, and in many cases, grown right on the property. 🌱

There were sooo many good dishes and here are my highlights:

- French apple tart
- Fresh-caught red snapper
- Vanilla bean cheesecake (x2)
- Steak n taters 🥩🥔
- The best fresh fruit plates for brekkie
- Sirloin skewers
- Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting

I also had some excellent sushi, coffee, many margaritas, pastries, chocolates, and all sorts of other delights. Props to the wonderful chefs and cooks. And bring your appetite, because it's all included in your stay. 💁🏻‍♂️

This one's for the foodies among us. Aaaand now I'm hungry. 🤤

🏖️ This may be my favorite room I've ever experienced at a hotel. It was a hillside suite at the very top, with a private outdoor shower, plunge pool and seating area, and deep soaking tub. 🛀

The views from the room were completely breathtaking — and getting up there was the best workout my legs have had in a while. 🌅

There were luxurious touches everywhere: comfy bedding, free minibar with snacks to raid, fresh water always available, nice toiletries, and plenty of closet space. 🌟 And the staff were all phenomenal.

Seeing the stars as I showered and soaked at night was a special treat. Such clear skies and sunny days in gorgeous #Antigua. 🕶️
